A Beautiful Wedding Amidst A Gorgeous California Backdrop

Being a photographer for incredible weddings is always a privilege. But being able to photograph the entire wedding weekend is a dream come true! And to be a part of Laura and Casey’s Sacred Mountain wedding was beyond dreamy.

Laura and Casey found me through a fellow photographer friend, and I was so grateful because we just vibed SO HARD. Before long, it was like I was just hanging out with friends, which always brings out the best in everyone involved.

I loved getting to know them and all their friends and family. I left feeling like I was part of the gang! Plus, I had an amazing time capturing tons of special moments throughout the wedding weekend.

Laura & Casey - A Hinge Success Story

Laura and Casey are the self-proclaimed "hinge success story." And funnily enough, they’re both from Minnesota, but they met when they were both living in San Diego.

Even though they had their wedding on the west coast to celebrate the birthplace of their relationship, they’ve since moved back to Minnesota. So it’s no surprise that they wanted that big outdoor energy for their wedding!

I had so much fun photographing the entire weekend with these two and their nearest and dearest. There were SO MANY smiles and plenty of laughter the entire time. Honestly, it was hard for me to say goodbye!

A Sacred Mountain Wedding For The Books

Saying that this venue was breathtaking barely does it justice. The scenery and mountain views were downright majestic. Add in Laura and Casey’s European garden party vibes, and you’ve got one heck of a stunning wedding.

They really wanted a bright, colorful, bohemian feel to their wedding, which I was mildly obsessed with - most of the weddings I've shot at this venue have been more neutral and rustic! While I love both styles, seeing the colors pop against the backdrop was really special.

After Laura and Casey hosted their wedding party at Milagro Winery, everyone stayed at Sacred Mountain for the entire weekend. It was the perfect place for a destination wedding.

Laura and Casey had such unique wedding outfits; I loved photographing Laura’s wedding dress. Plus, her bouquet and Casey’s boutineer were so pretty! Besides the fact that they’re adorable together, they make a beautiful couple.

What Matters Most

Getting to connect with my clients is really important to me. I feel honored to be a part of their story, and I want to ensure we are on the same page. Working with Laura and Casey was a true privilege, especially since I got to meet so many wonderful people who support them and this next chapter in their lives.

Did I love the venue? Absolutely. Were the colors and theme a total banger? For sure. But what matters most is connecting with people, and harnessing the magical, joyful moments of the day because I know what they care about.

If you have a wedding coming up and need a Pacific Northwest or California photographer, I’d love to connect with you!
