IMAGES & DELIVERY

what is the turnaround time?

Typically 3-4 weeks for engagement photos and 4–8 weeks for a wedding gallery. I will also send you a preview gallery within a few days so you have plenty to enjoy while I'm finishing up your gallery.

HOW MANY IMAGES ARE INCLUDED?

A unique part of my offering is that I don’t limit the amount of images I deliver. I edit every image that isn’t a duplicate, ones where you're blinking or other unflattering shots, etc. For engagement shoots, that’s typically 150-250 final edited images. For weddings, it can range from 600-1200 depending on a lot of different factors. I alway send existing full galleries when you fill out a booking form so you know what to expect!

do we get raw files and full ownership of the photos?

Every package I offer gives you full print/download rights for edited, high-res images for no additional fee. You can download, print and share as much as you want. You can also make albums to print right in the gallery I send you!

You don't get the raw unedited files - trust me, you wouldn't want them! Most computers don’t even have the software to open the massive RAW files. I often take 3000+ images on a wedding day, and then meticulously go through all images and remove duplicates and unflattering ones you wouldn’t want to see. I don’t limit the amount I send to you, so you will receive every image that turned out awesome! This process is industry standard, and I’m happy to chat through any further concerns/questions.

WILL YOU HELP US POSE/NOT LOOK awkward IN THE PHOTOS?

This is literally what I do best! I work with real people (not models)! Directing and making you look and feel comfortable is seriously what I'm best at. Pinky promise!!! Everyone says they are ‘the most awkward’ in front of the camera, but then afterwards say it’s so much easier and more fun than they thought it would be. Don't take my word for it, read some of my reviews and hear what my couples have to say!

DOES THE PACKAGE INCLUDE A guest BOOK, PHOTO ALBUM, AND/OR PRINTS?

You can make and print albums straight through the gallery I sent you. It's super easy, affordable and incredible quality. Also, the gallery never expires so you go back to it whenever you want. You can also download them in high-res and print them from a different source. I keep things really simple! We can go over this process more in depth, just let me know!

WEDDING DAY DETAILS

HOW MANY HOURS ARE INCLUDED?

It ranges from 6-10 hours, depending on the package you chose. 8-9 hours is most common. Once you fill out a booking form, I’ll send over a more detailed pricing guide so you can customize your package.

DO YOU HELP US MAKE A TIMELINE?

Yes! I will help you every step of the way. I've shot 400+ weddings, so I am an expert in timing and the typical flow. Based on the answers of a few beginning questions (ceremony time, first look/no first look, exit time, wedding party size, getting ready locations, etc.) I create a timeline that you can make adjustments to as needed. I’ll also send you a thorough planning guide which goes into detail about timeline planning and includes a list of vendor referrals!

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE INCLUDED ON OUR WEDDING DAY?

Myself by default but I have an additional photographer option for either a full-day or half-day package.

HAVE YOU SHOT AT MY VENUE BEFORE?

If I haven’t, I promise it doesn’t matter! Location scouting is part of my process before your wedding, so I promise I’m always as prepared as I need to be. I do thorough prep work, research and arrive to all my weddings early so I can scout the location again the morning of to see if anything has changed and to asses the lighting that day.

DO YOU CARE IF WE DECIDE NOT TO DO A FIRST LOOK?

I do not! I don't require a first look and don't have a really strong preference either way. As long as we plan your day strategically, you don't mind missing your cocktail hour, and we have plenty of natural light left after the ceremony, it's really no problem! In the planning guide I send my couples, there are sample timelines for both first-look and non-first-look setups and my advice on how to structure your day either way!

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

Every couple brings out something totally different in me. I'm not the photographer who shoots and edits everything the same way - I shoot for my couple, not for my portfolio. My biggest philosophy and objective is to shoot and edit in a way that looks and feels authentic to what the day actually looked and felt like! My background is in photojournalism, so my style is very deeply rooted in storytelling. I avoid trendy editing or styles that you won't like in a few years–I want your images to be timeless, transformative, and bring you back to the magical moments whenever you look at them. So, if I had to describe my style, I would say; timeless, journalistic, bright, vibrant, happy, and emotive.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

I take on a limited amount of travel each year, so don't hesitate to reach out if you're getting married outside of Washington State. Additional travel fees apply to all weddings that require me to fly to the location or stay overnight.

WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS TO MOVE FORWARD?

A signed contract + the $1500 retainer will secure your day. After filling out the booking form, I will send you next steps so we can make this thing OFFICIAL!

WHAT happens IF WE CHANGE OUR DATE?

We can continue to work together even if you have to change your date. As long as I’m available, we will sign a new contract and you are good to go. Easy peasy.
