CHELAN WEDDING AT SIREN SONG WINERY

Mallory and Ryan’s Lake Chelan wedding at Siren Song Winery was one of my favorites ever for so many reasons. The bride Mallory and I go wayyyyyyyyy back - we grew up together and have photos with each other in kindergarten all the way through being cheerleaders together in high school. I was so bummed when I was originally not available for their first wedding date in 2020, but this was a case where I was selfishly thankful Covid postponed their wedding a year because I was available for their second date and was so so so excited I got to be the one to shoot this! Beyond Mal being a lifelong friend, Lake Chelan will always have a special place in my heart. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I spent summers vacationing in Lake Chelan with my family (like so many people who grew up in my area) and it will always just remind me of hot lake summer days. Chelan is extra special to this couple as well because Mal grew up spending her summers here and when I think of Mal I picture her on a boat cruisin’ around the lake with her family.
I remember the first time I looked this venue up I gasped - it looks like your in Tuscany or something, I couldn’t believe this was in Lake Chelan! It made me see the area in a whole new way - the lake views behind the ceremony spot, surrounded by all those beautiful mountains - this was such a dreamy venue and by far one of my favorite places I’ve ever gotten to shoot. And the row of arches down the ceremony spot took my breath away - Oak and Fig Floral KILLED it with adding all the greenery to it - it made it feel soooo romantic and dreamy. This was also my first time working with Jackie from A Standard of Grace Events and I adored her so much, I can’t wait to work with her again. Another highlight for me was doing Mal and Ryan’s first look out on a dock overlooking the lake - it was such a stunning backdrop and they also took this moment to exchange their personal and private vows.
This wedding was SUCH a special one, and I am hoping to be back in Lake Chelan for a wedding soon!
