Amanda and Sam’s Lake Tahoe wedding at PJ’s at Gray’s Crossing was my first time in Lake Tahoe and this was a FAVORITE for me! I loved everything about being in Lake Tahoe - Truckee was such a cute town and it was so beautiful. Sam and Amanda met at a bowling alley through a friend of a friend (what a freakin meet-cute) and are based in the Bay Area with their cat Gigi, and got engaged in the slopes in Tahoe in 2019. Lake Tahoe was such a perfect location for their wedding. Good things come to those who wait because this was originally supposed to be a 2020 wedding that inevitably got pushed to 2021, and I’m so thrilled I still got to be apart of it because these are some of my favorite images of mine to date. Amanda and Sammy are just the sweetest couple and such a gift to be around - I loved getting to know their friends and family and being involved in their world for a few days. They said they were going for a rustic, bohemian, and elegant event when they first inquired with me, and omg did they nail it. The venue is so naturally beautiful but their soft elegant touches made it look soooo perfect. This was my first time working with Parker Nichols events (who is a freakin dream!) and this was just a blast to shoot. Hoping to be brought back to Lake Tahoe for another wedding sooooon (hint hint hint hint hint hint hint nudge nudge nudge nudge!)
