Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla, San Diego is one of my top San Diego venues I love sooooo much. When I shot this wedding, I truly believed it was going to be my last wedding here ever - at the time it was my plan to close down the San Diego part of my business. Joke was on me because I couldn’t stay away for more than a year and am already booking San Diego weddings again BUT AT THE TIME I DIDN’T KNOW THAT so the “last wedding here ever” feeling was real and strong. One of those weddings that just sticks with me - it was the perfect storm of perfect conditions to make it an absolutely perfect wedding day. I worked with some of my fav planners and it felt like a reunion, the sun was shining all day showing off that epic view I love so much. One of my favorite things about Scripps Seaside Forum is every wedding I shoot there looks and feels completely different - and this one was by far one of my favorite setups I’ve ever seen. I loved the intimate dinner party vibes of the long tables with the view - and the florals and details were immaculate. I absolutely loved celebrating with these two self-proclaimed nerds who fell in love in the front row of medical school, and their day will always have such a special place in my heart.
