Barry and Celine’s wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum… OMG WOW I have been so excited to share this one! Probably the craziest (in the best way) party I’ve ever been a part of, and I was definitely kept on my toes all day. I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone have as much fun EVER as Celine and Barry did on their wedding day. Actually after following them the last year I’ve come to realize they just have the most fun of anyone ever together all the time so it was really fitting they through such an epic party. These two live in New York but the bride is from San Diego, so they decided to have their wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum. I can’t really imagine a better place to really show off Southern California to out-of-town guests! When they originally described their wedding to me as ‘upscale tropical’ - I knew it was going to be good (it’s no secret I love anything tropical!), but I had no idea how well they would nail their vision! I heard many times throughout the day that anything Celine touches turns to gold and YEAH, I’d say so. When I first met with them, they told me all about their ideas of dancing robots and bikini girls serving drinks and I thought they were BIG dreamers and wondered how much would actually come to fruition haha. Little did I know they were 100% serious about all of it and pulled it off even better than I imagined! It was such a blast to capture!

We started the day at the La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla which was such a dreamy location for getting ready and first look! The historic architecture, pink walls, and ocean views make for INCREDIBLE photos. This is a great example of what a rad getting ready space can do for your gallery! so so so fun. The rest of the day was just as perfect! We took the trolley from the hotel to the venue and I was lucky enough to have someone else with me who could drive my car so I could party with them on the ride there - the images from that time are so fun and it makes me wonder if everyone has that much fun on the way to their wedding?!

This day was SO fun, I really can’t emphasize that enough. Celine and Barry wanted to throw an epic and entertaining party to celebrate their marriage and it was CRAZY AMAZING. Still dreaming of this one and wish we could do it all over again!
