Rachel and Rudy are a badass couple, and I had the best time documenting their intimate elopement ceremony at the Volunteer Park Conservatory in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. I don’t shoot a lot of elopements, but this one made me want to start shooting more. This is an epic iconic Seattle location I’ve always had on my shooting wish-list, and I’m so glad it finally. happened! We started with an hour of portraits wandering around the conservatory (every corner of this location is beyond photogenic), settled in for their intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family, and ended with group and family photos outside on the lawn before the headed off to their party and night of celebrating. Elopement coverage like this, I recommend 2 hours, and it was plenty of time for everything without feeling rushed. I adored this couple, their style, their vibe, and I love this images. <3
