Have you ever thought of getting married at a museum? This wedding might make you change your plans because omg Kevin and Bailey’s wedding at the Natural History Museum in San Diego was such a good time! I grew soooooo fond of these fellow Slytherins - they inquired about 2 years before their wedding, so the relationship with this couple went deep! I actually toured the venue with Bailey and her mom right before Covid shut the world down (it was literally my last business meeting before the shutdowns) - I was so excited that this one could happen in their original planned timing of late 2021. So many of my favorite vendor friends were a part of this one (Ryan Green, Arturo of AHR Florals, Elizabeth Root!) - and it was just so much freakin fun. Kevin and Bailey are such a sweet couple, their vows brought tears to my eyes literally, and it was such a special one to see come to life after all the planning we all did together. I LOVED all the colors (Arturo killed it with the florals), the getting-ready spaces were so fun to shoot in, Balboa Park was the perfect backdrop for their portraits… and this venue was SO UNIQUE!!!!! The rooftop of the museum is a sick ceremony location and the museum was such a unique and cool place for their reception… this one was just so fun and I love these images so so so much. Bonus points for hiring a band because bands always bring the party in a big way!!!!
